She is from the medical portion of the family and she is far more skilled in healing than the warriors could ever dream to be. She has been training in this field since she was a child and has seen many people die as a result. She was rather hard on herself when she was younger if she got something wrong when treating someone and causing them to die. She usually learned from her mistakes, which may have been when her smoking habit kicked in. She feels no attachment to death or the death of someone unless she was particularly close to them. But even then she just bites her lip and ignores it. She's big on hiding her emotions most to the time anyway. Unless its a Li-fen that is. Lin Mei excelled in the knowledge that medics were required to know as a child and still does. She is always happy to learn more and quite positive about getting things right. She as stated would always get fairly discouraged when she did something wrong and caused someone to die. It was a tough experience at first something that made her a bit depressed but now she's quite immune to it. She's quite awesome at herbology and potions if she does say so herself and she's quite proud of this okay? Smoking is something she probably picked up when she was quite young perhaps at 11 or 12. Its used mainly to calm her down as something about it just soothes her. She occasionally smokes when she is treating someone to help herself concentrate and she definitely smokes when she's stressing out. Usually over her big fear. Lin Mei favors being called Lime when she is in the presence of Hogwarts because well her name sounds like that and people don't know how to pronounce her name properly. She doesn't care if people think her English name is strange and just ignores it. Who cares what lowbloods think anyway! Lin Mei is a metamorphagus and very curious to the fact of where she got these genes from within the family. She has thought about researching this but just hasn't found the time to do so nor the patience. She may do this later on if time and patience can be found for her. Perhaps she can trace it back for her fellow Li-fen metamorphagus as well. Who knows but she liked to learn some day. Her parents knew there was something weird about her as a baby when her hair was a bright yellow after being jet black like all Li-fen's. Now she likes to keep it a modest green or a brighter green than that. She sometimes feels extra quirky she'll make her hair similar to the colors of the frog her patronus looks like and changes the color of her eyes to look like it as well. But she prefers the green hair and eyes. Another thing to add is that she is terribly afraid of thunder storms. The reason as to why is completely lost to her but they just do. It could be the loud noises that it makes and light the sky up all scary like. She likes to hide the fact that she's afraid of them and likes to crawl into bed with the closest Li-fen if there is a storm at night while she's trying to sleep.
