notes: alright, so here's the deal. sei loves the romance plots. it gives me an opportunity to get some character development and blah... i LOVE them, okay? i really would like this to come to fruition. i didn't get my romance plot on the last harry potter site i was on ; - ;
So, Pearl is a pureblood who was raised in the wizarding aristocracy… so she kinda has no choice on who to pick. She was engaged to this boy when she was just 6 years old. They are the same age (if not, they have only one year of difference) after their parents agreed to it. She is the first one out of her siblings to be engaged against her will, her sister Poppy has no interest in the matter and made it very clear that she doesn't fancy men. As for her other sister, Phoebe, there were no one of her age that were of adequate blood purity. She married an French pureblood a few years after she was out of school.
Pearl has been focused on her career and had no thoughts of the whole arranged marriage until she turned 26 and her parents reminded her she was engaged and that she should seriously start thinking about the wedding.
She went out with a half-blood boy during her time at Hogwarts but he turned out to be a total jerk who tried to force himself on her on a date in Hogsmeade. Pushing him away she hexed him and he ended up in the hospital wing after the shock. She didn't get a detention on the reason he was at fault and she used self-defence. They broke up and they stopped talking. She is quite glad of this outcome. She hasn't been really trusting of guys since that event, heck the only guys she really talk to are her rare male friends and her co-workers.
She isn't the type to fall for someone easily... heck she would never admit to anyone if she did like someone. So thats why i think it would be interesting to rp the relationship between her potential husband and her.
On an interesting note, she is very interested in the man she is engaged to. They went to school together and had common friends.
Like i said, she would never admit it, but if he went right out and told her he loves her and wants to marry her not out of obligation but out of interest/love, she would blush and run away and would tell him she also likes him about a few days after. She would need to think about it haha.
