Typical Saturday mornings involved sleeping in and generally relaxing about or studying. However, Charles also found it a very nice day to have Quidditch practice with his team. Saturday practice slots were generally longer than those during the weekdays, and this allowed the team to make the most out of their three, sometimes four, day practice schedule. Even better for them was the fact that their practice ended before lunch, allowing optimal nutrient uptake for the team, with the added bonus of increased appetites. Quidditch was as much a physical game as it was mental, something Charles took to heart.
This morning found the team captain moving at least half a dozen or more violently shaking cases to the Quidditch pitch in addition to at least two non-shaking ones. Upon reaching the center of the Quidditch pitch, Charles released the spell that kept them floating, causing them to land with audible thumps on the ground. "Accio Sinanju," Charles whispered with a wave of his wand. It didn't take long for his trademark broom to fly to his hand from a distance. He put a hand over his brow and looked up, shielding his eyes from the sunlight that just peaked over the very top of the spectator seats. The smell of fresh dew still hung in the air as the sun slowly warmed up the land.
It was ten minutes to the start of practice, and already Charles was running plays through his head, in addition to the plans he had for practice, plans that would employ and push the abilities of his favorite Beater, Asher, to the limits. At the same time, it would give the Beater a chance to work out some pent up and hidden stress and general dislike of Charles, though the fruits of practice would most likely serve to bring frustration to him, but that remained to be seen. The little drill he had planned for the two of them would really test their limits, and possibly Selene's if she was feeling as crazy or suicidal as Charles. The Seeker kept his eyes open for any of his fellow teammates.
