There are five years between the Finnegan children and so he has always been protective over her. He has been the perfect older brother in his opinion and will continue to be. [/style]The Finnegan family is a half-blood family and so they have received plenty of grief over this. This is due to Tomas’ lovely mother falling in love with a muggle and marrying him only years later. This isn’t a problem neither among the family nor within the house. His family is not a prejudiced one and had no issue with his mother marrying his muggle father because they only wanted their daughter to be happy. She is very happy and had two children as a result of being happy so her parents do not care. While Tomas was still attending Hogwarts as a student, he was placed into the Gryffindor house. It wasn’t much of a surprise due to his personality matched that of one. It is also a pretty big family thing to be placed in Gryffindor as most of his family is similar to him in some aspect to their personality. He did not receive Fiona as a familiar until his 5 year after his other cat met an untimely end. He originally had been taking his family’s pet cat with him but she ended up getting slaughtered out in the forest. He pays a close eye to Fiona so she doesn’t meet the same ending as his former cat. This also makes Fiona about 11 years old but she is still that happy little cat she was when he first got her. While he still was attending Hogwarts as a student, he excelled in the Defense Against the Dark Arts. He always found an interest in this class and so he paid special attention while in it. He decided in his last year at Hogwarts that he wanted to become a teacher so that he could help other students learn and understand the class like he did. He became an assistant to his teacher after he graduated. Tomas was an assistant for a total of 5 years for Defense Against the Dark Arts but decided that he wanted to go to the ministry and become an Auror. He had a love for teaching but he wanted to be able to see more dueling opportunities. Tomas’ greatest fear is the fear of losing his little sister. They may be five years a part but he is really close to her and is quite over protective of her. It would probably be one of the more terrifying boggarts to see since it would be that of her lifeless body. Tomas has a great like for Quidditch and Teaching but he didn’t choose to do either for as a career. He never pursued a professional career in the sport but he was on the team when he was still going to school; he was a skilled flyer. He was always good at both Charms and DADA while he was still in school and is still quite fond of both the classes. He also likes Woman and chocolate, which is pretty normal for any man of his age to like Woman and chocolate, is just tasty. Tomas has been known to get irritated over disrespectful children and bullies. That being said he will not be pleased if a student decides to disrespect him and will likely intervene if a student is being bullied in front of him. He greatly dislikes it when his sister is being bugged or hurt and that goes for students being harmed as well. He will put his life on the life in both situations as a proper big brother should in his opinion. One thing that could possibly get his blood boiling is blood discrimination and he definitely does not appreciate it when he’s told he can’t do anything properly because he’s a half blood; like that has anything to do with it.
