[/style]months later, ariel evan collins was born. the wizard child, that azul was blessed to have. the son that james always wanted. luckily, for james and evan, the leader of the collins family would not allow them to be disowned, and evan to be added to the family tree. he even encouraged marrying, and bearing children outside of the purebloods, it decreased the chance of metal diseases, opened the gene pool just a bit. evan attended a private muggle school during his elementary years. they were uneventful and forgettable, except he was always at the top of the class. there was just one kid, that he really remembers, he made evan hate his name. "i am ariel, king of the sea." evan had been playing pretend, at five. he hit his stick repeatedly onto the ground. mikey whathisface, evan will never remember his last name. he scoffed. "more like singing princess of the sea." and the stick collided with mikey's face, repeatedly. evan had two days suspension. evan left that school during fifth grade, when he "accidently" brought his wand to school. nothing happened, but it scared james enough to know where he was sending evan, no more muggle schools. no matter how much azul wanted. ariel's wand, he received at nine, his great-great-great-great grandfather harrison collins'. the basilisk fangs in it is even older, it has a myth around it. that before it was put into that wand, it belonged to a serpent thousands of years in age before it was slain by emil collins, a wandmaker, he went far and wide collecting materials, he later placed it in his son's wand. ariel is the first one to be able to use it since the death of harrison, not only boosting his ego, but igniting the jealousy and hatred from his pureblood cousins. the wand had been prophesied, by harrison on his deathbed, to work for his heir, who would be destained to reach greatness. in evan's mind, the man was exactly on target. the wand had been tried by a female cousin, a year older than him the whole family had gathered for it, besides evan's mother, they had all expected her to be able to use the wand, she was great, bettering herself daily in her studies, but it backfired. evan's father than asked if evan could try it, and her mother reluctantly pried it from her daughter's hand, and evan tried it out, and boddabang, like magic it worked. many of his family members forgot about his inpure blood and started "kissing his ass." or other hated him more, like his cousin. they have a rivalry to this day over that wand. evan is cocky, just plain arrogant. he's had almost everything handed to him in life, all because of that lovely wand, he's do to be head of his family. only feeding his arrogance. the one thing he fears? the form his boggert takes? his mother, with her cuban accent. her petite form. she's tiny, but he'd much rather face a death eater, than his muggle mama's rage. she'd beat him with her straightener, if he ever returned home with bad grades. you got a C in potions? it doesn't matter that she has no idea what the course is even about. he fears coming out as simply bisexual to his mother, not only might she disown him, she might cut him up and put him in the oven. oh his latina mama. his mother doesn't speak english well at all. so, spanish is the language spoken in the evan's home. english is almost a secret language, spoken in whispers between his father and him. evan is capable of apparition, and speaks fluent mermish, english, and spanish. he also has occlumency, which he learned from the current head of the collins family.
