He lived in a small house about a mile away from a town where they would get food and clothing etc. Shane wasn't aware he was a wizard until he reached the age of five. One day he wen't out with his parents to go to town. and as they walked, a snake came at them slowly and Shane's father told them to stay very still. Shane did that but as he stared at the snake he began to speak parseltongue. All his parents heard was a five year old with a raspy voice saying gibberish but they knew he was speaking parseltongue. Shane told the snake to please leave them alone and the snake left deciding killing a kid was pretty dumb. [/style]Shane snapped out of his trance and realized he just talked to a snake and it understood. When he asked his parents they gave him shifty and ran him back home. They explained everything to Shane. Told him about magic, muggles, Hogwarts etc. A normal five year old would scream saying your lying but Shane simply smiled. Shane thought it was the coolest thing in the world until dark wizards came and attacked the house. Shane's mother was killed but his father was wounded.
