yeah, these two. ariel evan hates his guts. if nothing more than that purist attitude he carries, he doesn't even have to voice it all the time, just the fact that evan might be aware that he thinks like that is bad enough. purebloods are dying out, one should figure that they are ending. there's gonna be nothing left but children with down syndrome in evan's opinion. now, evan carries himself with the same pride as a pureblood, he's the future head of the collins family, you better believe it. so, maybe cygnus, besides the fact that evan's a half-blood, hate him for his 'i'm so much better than you attitude,' evan has?

I don't think Cygnus would find a means to care about Evans opinion at all. Cygnus is very indifferent towards the superiority of the other families.Being from the Pierce family there is a high political structure involved and petty family rivalries have nothing to do with him. He could find it be an annoyance but for the most part he would never have a reason to voice his distaste for him. Cyngus doesn't need to know that Evans is better than him, because Cygnus already knows, he is better. Enough so that the purpose for voicing it is like going out of his way. Maybe small remarks here and there but Cygnus really wouldn't care for him. Enemies are to much work.

Marcus & Cygnus I think Cygnus would be one of those students that Marcus enjoy's teaching. Cygnus' background certainly shows in the way he carries himself. I'm not certain how well he does at Transfiguration, but Cygnus looks like the type who would perform his best regardless of petty sentiments. And that is what Marcus considers to be truly fitting of a pureblood like him. Marcus would not show favouritism, but he'd definitely enjoy interacting with Cyg. I'd venture a closer relationship than simply teacher and pupil, perhaps something along the lines of mentor-mentee if he's willing.

Lucas & Cygnus Now these two are really similar. They're both from respectable, wealthy pureblood families, and they are both proud of that. They are both Legilimens and most likely they both know about it. I'd say they would get along really well even though they are a year apart. Lucas is just a bit more sociable than he is. Also, does Cygnus have a younger sibling? I'm looking for the friend whom he tutored last summer in exchange for Legilimency. It would be out of the question for Lucas to have tutored Cygnus himself.
