Cara was back again in the same ol' place that she found herself all the time. Don't get her wrong she loved going into Honeyduekes. It was just she was in there for more than just your normal run of the mill candy. She always went in there for a particular type of candy to keep her thirst in check. Not that she was addicted to any type of candy in the store, no this was a different type of thirst.
The brunette wasn't any normal student that attended Hogwarts. Most everyone believed that she was except for the professors but that was because they had to know about it. She wasn't a half blood or even a pureblood like most assumed she was because of knowing about her father's blood status; not at all. She was actually a half breed and that of a vampire; only half though. Her magically abilities came from her father and all her other qualities came from her mother, a vampire.
This included the thirst that she was currently shopping to quench and satisfy. Her red eyes lingered over the supply of candy that Honeydukes offered to her and others of her kind. They had a pretty wide collection of blood flavored candy for her to choose from and what they didn't have her mom usually sent her. She liked not having to wait or worry with a candy store being so close to the school. Her parents would have been sending her letters more frequently if that was the case and she probably would have been embarrassed by that.
Cara held onto the small basket that she had grabbed at the front of the store as she eyed the candy. She had already dropped a bag or two of blood lolly pops into the basket as well as a few other forms of it. She always worried about what people would think if she let them go shopping in Honeydukes with her because of the candy that she bought. She certainly bought way too much of the blood flavored candy for it to seem like she wanted to try it. She had seen a few of her friends buy a bit once just because they wanted to know what it tasted like; it wasn't for everyone though.
In the end she just worried on a whole what people would think of her if they knew she was a half vampire. Would they call her a monster for liking the taste of blood? Would they stop being her friends because of it? She wasn't sure but those thoughts always led on to her believing no one could ever possibly love her because of it. She didn't hate the vampire part of her, not at all, she was just afraid of never being accepted. Her mother didn't leave the house much from it she assumed but her mother had certainly found love. She shrugged her shoulders lightly as she kept on eying the candy to get the thoughts from her mind.
