Osamu knows what he wants, and it's something high up. He wants to have power, both magical and over other people, and would generally do anything to get it. Of course he wouldn't go unreasonably far, fools like those who dabble in the Dark Arts have shown that it can only lead to problems for onself, and if he feels someone was in danger, especially at his own fault, he'd rush to aid them. [/style]→ Determined. By whatever forces that govern the universe Osamu is determined. Nothing can ever make him give up, when he sets himself to something he will NOT ever stop until his goal is complete. Anything in his way gets knocked down, anything that can give him a leg up he will use. If he deems you in his way, then expect to fall. And hit the floor hard. → Manipulative. Osamu knows how people think, and he knows how to use that to his advantage. He knows how to make people to what he wants them to do without them even knowing, how to make friends with people who otherwise hate him, and how to make his enemy's lives a misery. In fact he finds it rather enjoyable. → Incredible memory. Osamu never forgets anything, ever, that he has had a good look at. He can recall entire chapters from books he's only read once, he can recall the tiniest details of the things that he has seen. Of course it's not perfect, he can make mistakes, but these mistakes are so rare and minute that it barely matters. → Smooth. Osamu knows how to move incredibly well, how to make his body go where he wants it to go in manners that can be described as beautiful. He can avoid punches and spells meant for him with spins and ducks, even with ever-so-slight movements. It's quite respectable. → Fast. In the physical sense, and the mental sense. His mind and body are faster then what the usual person's are to the point where he can out-think and out-run most people his age, allowing him to get a step ahead where others would straddle behind. → Creative. Osamu has been known to find ways of doing things that other people might not have thought of doing, be it pragmatic or plain old strange he has no problem finding other ways to do things. In the end the only person Osamu seems to care about is himself, at least on the outside. This has often lead to him having les friends that other people, as the those he sees as "friends" tend to be either tools or playthings for him. He generally disregards everyone but himself, and at times it has lead to his downfall. [/style]→ Physically weak. Osamu's actual strength, when it comes to brute force, is lower then the average person's. Most people could out-do him in a test of sheer strength, and he absolutely hates this fact to the core. He goes out of his way to avoid tests of brute strength, or to find ways which he can turn things to his favour. → Can't take a hit. With all Osamu's determination when he gets hit boy does he get hit. Stuff that most people would be able to take in stride he would be knocked down by, writhing in pain. It's the main reason why he's put so much focus in moving fast and smoothly, so he can avoid getting hit and showing his weakness. → Obsessive. On the flip side to his determination and incredible manipulation, they both come with severe obsession. Everything has to be juuuuuust right or Osamu isn't happy and he'll continue to work to make sure all gaps are sealed. More often then not it can lead to his downfall rather then his success. → Disregard for rules. Osamu doesn't care about the set rules of society and the school, they have no baring on him and only suit to hold him back. He finds it best to ignore them and deal with the consequences of his actions later, if later comes and he hasn't planned ways not to get caught (unlikely). He won't go out of his way to break them and cause trouble, they just mean nothing to him. → Disregard for other people's opinion. Osamu doesn't care what you think, it only gets in his way. Tell him to back down, tell him to keep going, tell him he's doing bad, tell him he's doing good. He just doesn't care. Sure he'll hear your opinions, use them, but in the end they mean nothing to him. → Arrogant. Osamu can't imagine being wrong, he can't imagine losing. It means he's shown weakness, and he can't have that. Therefore he's removed all notions that he even just might lose and fail out of his head. From an early age Osamu had to learn to look after himself, to stand on his own two feet, because by order of his father he was given little help with growing up. For you see Atsushi was a man who believed that true strength was derived from within oneself, and not from those other people whom are around you. [/style]One day Osamu's parents bore a second child, a girl by the name of Konata. She was given treatment much like Osamu had, Atsushi telling Osamu not to coddle her or help her. He even went so far to tell Osamu to hinder her, and if he did so he would reward him. This horrified Osamu, who did not believe his Father's way was right. Instead he decided he would do his best to make sure Konata lived better then he did, putting more strain on himself so that he could look after her as well. He was content, however, he loved his little sister dearly. When Osamu was old enough he was sent to Hogwarts, where he did… Alright. He wasn’t so focused on the work he was given, he didn’t care, and soon he had friends to call his own. A feat he attributed to his kind personality. He enjoyed Hogwarts dearly, but he often wrote back to his sister telling her how he missed her and checking if she was alright. The first day Osamu came back from Hogwarts he learnt of terrible news. His sister had died after being attack by some thug, someone who wasn't even magical. Just a thug. Osamu couldn't help but blame himself for coddling her too much, he thought that if he had done as his Father said she would've been strong enough to defend herself or at least to run away. But she hadn't. Because of him. It was very moment that Osamu decided that he would be strong, and follow the ideals of his Father, so that he could live and be successful for his sister where she could not. He knew that he had been weak before, but now was the time to change all that and be strong. Seeing his son's grief, and newfound ambition, Atsushi decided it was time for his son to recieve their Time-Turner. He explained how to use it, why to use it and to always use it responsibly. Never try to change the past, no matter what has happened. Being young as he was Osamu found the temptation to go back and save his sister to be great, though for the time where he was with him Atsushi made sure that he did not. It didn't take long when Osamu returned for people to notice that he had changed. People asked him why and when he told them of his sisters death they tried to comfort him, only for him to push them away for trying to coddle him. He noticed that he had been weak before, his performance had been at best average. He was going to change all that, and sure enough he did. Time went on and Osamu changed even more, to the point where people wouldn't even recognize him next to his old self. People hardly even remembered it, he was someone different.
