Laurie's mother is a veela which makes Laurie a half-breed. And a half-veela, no less! Laurie is pretty much convinced that he is not only charming, but hot, which leads him to flirt with lots of girls and, recently, lots of boys. Secretly, however, Laurie is pretty lousy at relationships and hasn't been in a real one that goes past the occasional winks and hugs and wandering hands (strictly clothes on!!) He'd get awkward past anything else, so he, of course, tends to whisk himself away when things seem to get too heavy. He doesn't want to seem like he's nervous, though, which he is. Because that's just uncool. Laurie may be friendly and easy to talk to, but he is pretty self-conscious. He is constantly worried about whether he looks weird, or seems weird, and all. Laurie also has a tendency to take what people say too seriously. Okay, so maybe he's a tad bit emotional about things, but it isn't as if he keeps it to heart!! Laurie bottles up his feelings and laughs and grins and focuses on fixing things later. And by result, he's a bit of a liar about what he's feeling and who he is.
