Her sister, Belinda, was noticeably weaker than Marjorie. She was prone to illness and extremely pale. Marjorie was used to protecting her little sister and they became very close in their childhood years. When Marjorie was nine and Belinda was six, something terrible happened. Marjorie’s parents left on a trip, leaving their children in the care of a wizard caretaker. One night Marjorie and her sister heard some strange noises from outside the house. They snuck out of bed and walked down the stairs and outside into the yard. Emerging from the forest was a large werewolf. Belinda screamed in terror, causing the werewolf to come after them. The werewolf lunged for Belinda but Marjorie stood in its way to save her sister. Belinda watched in horror as her sister tried to fight off the monster. Marjorie suffered a large bite on her shoulder before their caretaker arrived to fend off the beast. They managed to chase the werewolf away from the house and heal Marjorie, but could not save her from a terrible fate that would follow the girl her entire life. Her parents loved and supported her, making sure that she took her Wolfsbane potion every time she had to transform. Belinda continues to feel incredible guilt over the incident, no matter how much Marjorie insists it wasn’t her fault. Marjorie continues to feel protective of her sister to this very day. Her life at Hogwarts has been relatively happy. Marjorie is incredibly popular and social, despite the fact that she is struggling in her classes. She continues to get Wolfsbane potion from the Potions teacher and transforms privately on school grounds. Marjorie is not unpopular with the opposite sex either, but she has yet to feel any real attachment or love. She loves parties and social events and thrives on them, becoming the life of a party even in the dullest of places. Secretly, though, Marjorie is incredibly sensitive about her condition. She fears that she will never be able to live a normal life and that she will inevitably hurt all those she loves. No one besides her family and some faculty members know about her condition.
