ABOUT ME Marcus, Marcus, Marcus. Marcus Dunesworth has been teaching at Hogwarts for 16 years now. He's definitely part of the senior staff. It doesn't bother him that long time rival, Rufus Irving, has been teaching exactly ONE year longer than he has. Not at all. After all, it took Rufus the same number of years to become Head of Slytherin as it did for Marcus to become Head of Ravenclaw.
He is, as one could imagine, very proud of his darling Ravens. He doesn't pick favourites and his sentiments for his house could probably only be seen in the fact that he is a tad stricter with them. Just a tad. It his his duty to make sure that they get the most out of their education. He is caring and good-natured towards all students and colleagues. For the most part~
As a wizard, Marcus prefers diplomacy over any form of violence; magic or otherwise. It's a principle he encourages among his students. He is a realist however. He's not prone to taking any form of un-calculated risk.

Do you like tea? Well, pull up a chair because Marcus is Ravenclaw house's resident tea enthusiast. Marcus is meticulously neat and organised. He keeps the different blends in the tea cabinet of his private office. He's told it's smaller than the one owned by the potions master but that's all right. Marcus prefers to keep stock of only his favourites. He orders the rest in smaller samples. As stiff as he can be at times, Marcus is an amiable man who's always keen to share his passions. Just that if you aren't a pureblood and not a part of Hogwart's student or faculty, expect only the barest courtesy.

Marcus is, regrettably taken. Although it had been an arranged marriage, Marcus is deeply in love with his wife, Charlotte Nightingale, who is the younger sister of Genevieve Nightingale. He's not up for flings and definitely not up for any form of student-teacher romances. However, one-sided crushes, platonic or otherwise, are okay. Feel free to plot past crushes as well, just know that Marcus would have been much more preoccupied with his studies during his school days to be truly romantic in returning any affections. Soro doesn't mind fangirls. In case you were wondering, Marcus' son is named Avery, while his daughter is called Danielle.

Marcus' adherence pureblood ideals are bound to offend people, especially in this time where the lesser bloods and races are advocating for equal rights. The only rival he truly acknowledges as his equal is Rufus Irving. He takes tremendous pleasure in having scored as well as the potions master even though he has never taken a single potions lesson in the dungeons. He'd see other heads as rivals as well, but only when it comes to the House and Quidditch Cups. Marcus is terribly protective of his students and his family. Threatening or harming them is likely the quickest way to get on his bad side.
In any situation, he would prefer to discuss the issue rather than duke it out. Violence is uncivil. But push him far enough into a corner and he'll hold no reserves in bringing the offender to justice.

Marcus' animagi and legilimency abilities should make for pretty interesting plottage. I'm open to anything.
