ABOUT ME Lucas Irving is the eldest son of Rufus and Genevieve Irving. (Yes, that's potions master Rufus) He doesn't mind being the potion's professor's son, but in no way will he appreciate being referred to as such. He has a name. Use it.
Although he is not of the main house, Lucas does spend quite a bit of time among his extended family. He's particularly attached to him mum, whom he visits whenever he gets the chance. As a student, Lucas has the smarts to rival any Ravenclaw while maintaining the pride and eloquence of a true Slytherin. In essence, he really is his father's son. He's extremely diligent towards his studies and has a tendency to carry on even though he has clearly exhausted. He's currently looking to brew a potion that would help minimize his need for sleep. But for now, tea and the occasional Dreamless Sleep potion will have to do.
Being the brilliant gentleman that he is, Lucas would not mind tutoring. For a price, of course. Well, you didn't think you'd be getting quality tutelage for free, did you? Lucas' knowledge in most areas of magic surpass that which is expected of a fifteen-year-old. So if you're looking for some run-of-the-mill tutor, you're definitely barking up the wrong tree.

♠ FRIENDSHIPS ♠ FRIENDSHIPS ♠ FRIENDSHIPS ♠ FRIENDSHIPS
Lucas maintains cordial relationships with practically everyone he comes in contact with. He does go the extra mile for purebloods and friends of family, however. The Irvings remain an influential house among the wizarding community. He considers it his duty to help maintain and build family connections, particularly where the higher echelons of society are concerned. He's quite slow to trust, and at the moment considers no one but childhood friend and fiancée Arden Winter as his best friend.

Ehehe~ like I said, he's engaged. Since before he could remember, Lucas has always been betrothed to Arden. He is completely and utterly devoted to her so there is no debate when it comes to girlfriends. The answer is 'NO', girls. Even platonic romances are out. He's only got eyes for Arden. I'm good with one-sided crushes. His looks, manners and his proficiency at the piano certainly make him quite the matrimonial catch.
♣ HATESHIPS ♣ HATESHIPS ♣ HATESHIPS ♣ HATESHIPS
Lucas doesn't make enemies when he can help it. It's counter-productive, you see. He isn't outwardly smug about his abilities, but his outstanding performance and his preference to remain impartial to anyone might make him come off as arrogant.
Be warned. Lucas is far from being a saintly little boy. He's normally a tolerant person but insult his family or its members (directly or indirectly; his cousin Gwyn included) or give him another reason to truly bristle at you and you'll be sure to get a taste of just how 'dark' this Irving can be.

Family and mentorships go here. I'd like to note that while Lucas is unimpressed and overly-critical of his cousin, he does not hate Gwyneth. If anything, he's still waiting for her to prove that she is worthy of the Irving name. Lucas is bound to have a few rivals, although he'll only acknowledge purebloods. I'm also looking for someone to play the part of the friend he tutored last summer. (Friend's dad taught him Legilimency in return).
