Blaine's family is the result of his pureblood father marrying a muggle and their family name has fallen. The Greene named used to be known has a purely and religiously pureblood family that practiced being prejudiced towards muggles, muggle borns, and half-bloods. When the youngest son of the Greene family, fell in love and married a muggle he was disowned from receiving any money at all. Blaine’s family isn’t bad off at all because of this though and the children were told not to be ashamed of their blood at all.
There are 5 children within the Greene family, which includes Blaine himself. He has two older brothers who have long since graduated from Hogwarts. His oldest brother is 20 while his second oldest brother is 18. This puts 3 years between him and the eldest while there is only a year between him and his other brother. He has two younger sisters that are bother still attending Hogwarts just like he is. His older younger sister is 15 and the youngest is 12. There are two years between Blaine and his older younger sister while there is 5 years between him and his youngest sister. The daughters of the Greene family are extremely over protected by their older siblings inside school and outside of school. That means while at school if you mess with them you have to answer to Blaine and that’s not something most people want to do.
At the age of 10, Blaine was attacked by a werewolf while his family was visiting a family friend who lived in a rural forest area in the British countryside. The forest having not been known to have werewolves wandering in it was normally a safe place to live and so the family friend had decided upon living there. They had not been expecting the attack from the lone wolf so as they all sat outside enjoying time together the last thing they expected was for Blaine to be attacked while playing with his siblings. They had been running around in the yard and Blaine had been the one who had been the closest to the werewolf thus he was attacked instead of them. His mother screamed in horror, which alerted his father and the family friend as to what was happening. Even though they were in a panic his father and the family friend was able to buckle down so that they could rescue the boy before the werewolf could do any life threatening damage. They may have been able to ward the werewolf off with the use of magic but they were not able to save him before the werewolf had bit him. He has scars on his chest from where he was attacked and a bite scar on his upper right arm. The wounds from the wolf were deep enough to cause major scarring but with the quick use of magic they were able to stop the wounds from becoming life threatening. He does his best to keep them under wraps but if someone does see them then he just gives them a bogus reason for them.
Blaine only receives average grades while going to school and when he was going to a muggle school before he received average grades. He is smart but he is not overly smart and can understand how to complete things. He doesn't try to get better grades than he does but he does not care.
Blaine is secretive about a lot of things in his life like the fact that his family used to be a prejudiced pureblooded one. The fact that his dad was disowned and that his grandfather and the rest of that side of his family wants absolutely nothing to do with them. He also keeps tight wraps on the fact that he is in fact a werewolf except for his family and close friends.
Blaine is only aggressive to those who are rude or mean to his little sisters or try to pry into his life. He doesn't like having it out on display and he doesn't like his sisters being messed with. He also has a tendency to lash out at anyone if he is in a horrible mood including his family and friends. Don't give him the chance to prove this either because it usually doesn't end well. The extent to, which he is aggressive though isn't something he can control as his animal instincts make it more difficult too. It takes a lot to hold him back or get him to calm down.
