The Li-Fen family is known for their cruelty, figures of the dark arts, and also their insanity, infants born into this family usually don't live past infancy because of the high amount of trauma placed upon them from an early age. Ones that survive are considered 'highblooded', and well, as I already mentioned this family is batshit insane. They place their children in horrible positions so they have to fight and survive on their own, scars are fairly common in this family, the more you have the more proves you fight to live, and this is just considered 'training' in this family. Damien has more then his share of scars, the most noticeable one is the one across his face. He also has several on his left shoulder, both his forearms, and the lower half of his torso. Damien got into drugs when he was around thirteen, and that's when his personality differed. He use to be way too prideful, seeing himself above others, even fellow purebloods, he was downright cruel and malicious, but after being exposed to Opium by his Uncle in a way to make the pain fade, Damien got addicted and after that, he became the lazy more open-minded man he is now. He actually knows what he's like when he's sober and in truth, is terrified of being that person again. Over the four years since he's been using drugs, usually opium or some weed, he's only became sober once, and its not something he wants to happen again. He very well returned to that Pureblood mindset; that to him, is his worst nightmare. His family didn't so much as move to Britain as they were their to begin with, the Li-fen family is rather large, the main household located in China of course with branches all the way out to even America, his parents are Chinese they have just been living in Britain for years already. He has a large tattoo on the right side of his body, a age old tradition in his family, when he was accepted to Hogwarts the tattoo was just freshly being put on him in the traditional way, i.e, dipping a needle into ink and slipping it beneath several layers of skin, it was incredibly painful and took three years to complete. This tattoo symbolizes his being in the Li-Fen Family, as the warrior for the heir that is meant to be. He knows from his family teaching him Unforgivable magic, as was expected of him to learn as his place as 'warrior.' His wand was passed down in his family for the 'Next of the Dragon line'. His Chinese name is Da Min, but he just says his name is Damien to make it easier for people to pronounce his name. He has an interest in Quidditch, but is on the Reserve team, which he doesn't mind as he can't see himself playing every game as it was. He's in a relationship, his boyfriend, Asher, is someone he adores completely and is greatly defensive over. Because of an old injury, the right eye is grey now instead of red, he can't see out of it either so it is considered a weakness, he also thinks its disgusting to look at so has his hair over it to hide it from view.
