Up until she was 8, she lived in Germany with both of her parents and then her father got a job promotion. They had to move to Britain as a result but this didn't seem to have any bad effect on her. The funny thing about Cara's family that makes them more than just your typical family and it’s also what makes her a half breed. Her mother is a vampire full-fledged and everything. Her mother had been traveling around Germany and came upon the town that her father had been living in. She met Cara's father and they fell in love so she settled down in the town with him. He is a pureblooded wizard as well so that's where she gets her magic genes. The two were married after a year of courtship and another year after that was when little Cara came into the picture on June 19th. Cara has grown up completely normal for the most part and seems to be growing at a pretty normal human rate. Her parents suspect that by the time she reaches her twentieth birthday that she'll stop growing like a human and will appear young like her mother. She has a pretty steady supply of blood suckers and a few other hard blood candies. If she ever gets too low on supplies, she sends her parents an owl right away so they can send her some more. The only people who know that she's a half vampire are the teachers, headmaster, and headmaster deputy for obvious reasons. Not even her friends know that she's a half vampire and no one visits her during the summer because of her mother to keep the secret. At home though she also has a pet bat that she named Iris and who misses her while she’s gone. This is her way of sending letters during the summer as well. Yes. She owns a hairless cat and she is quite aware of it. She loves Lukas and his affectionate personality. He is a sweet tempered cat and he has plenty of energy in him. He likes to follow her about especially when she’s not rushing off to class and loves to find other cats to play with while she’s in class. Cara may have been living in Britain since she was 8 but she still has her German accent. She frequently talks in German with her parents so that's the reason it stays. It’s also hard to get rid of an accent if you don't try too right? She's never tried to lose it so it remains and she may get frustrated over a word if she is flustered while talking causing her to say it in German instead.
